Is there multiple server or is it just one server?

Multiple. Your character iss persistent. So if log off of one, and join another you will have your stuff. Vehicles and placed tents are just on that server.

Multiple server. Data saves globally so you won't have to redo everything if you switch servers. Some are located in the U.S, some in Europe.
