What's a bandit look like?

So on the main website it says "Step 2: Kill zombies and bandits", and the bandit has a cap. So I went into the game and see a guy in a cap and so I think it's a bandit so I kill him dead. Turns out he was just another survivor like me...

So now I'm confused. What's a bandit supposed to look like?

its not a "mask" its called a "shemagh". Its a type of scarf thats used to cover the face for multiple reasons in real world scenarios....identity concealment, camoflauge, weather,insects....etc..etc. They are pretty handy actually, i own 3 myself. Google it if you dont know what they look like.

They are the BLUFOR KSK units and they look like this in game.

He prolly didnt realize bandits are players who kill others, I didnt i though there were npcs at first.
