It seems the basis of your decision to buy ARMA 2 for DayZ was flawed, maybe inform yourself from a better source in the future. Almost every serious review of the mod has said that its very harsh and frustrating in the beginning. Of course there are other reviews were the reviewer basically has a server admin helping him cheat so that he doesn't look like a noob, but in the end still looks like a noob.
