Can't run Operation Arrowhead

Whenever I start the game I receive 2 error messages. followed by the game crashing, I also cannot start CO (when I try a batch file flicks up than closes followed by nothing)

First Error: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgIngameUI/MPTable.sadow'.

Second Error: Error compiling picel shadre PSSpecularAlpha:0

Also. I have attempted to start the game through sixupdater , but every time i join a server, i go to a loading screen briefly bu i get booted out and receive a "bad serial number given at setup" error.

Does anyone know what the fuck my PC is on about?

The No Entry error you may need to right click on Operation Arrowhead, properties, local Files, view integrity of cache, the second error I think you need to download DirectX9.

I've verified my integrity twice now, but I'll see about DX9

I had to verify my integrity four times for it to find the missing files, I didn't have the second error but I read the same problem and somebody commented that solution, good luck and I hope it works.

Ok, ArmA 2 runs just fine with the current version of DIRECT X that I have. and I don't really understand why I should downgrade to DX9.

Could someone explain this to me?

Its not downgrading, DX9 just has some stuff that DX10 and 11 dont have.

Ok, how do i run steam games as an Administrator?

Find your Steam executable. It is in your main Steam directory. It is called Steam and its TYPE is Application.

Right click it, select Properties. Select Compatibility tab, click the RUN AS ADMIN clickbox. APPLY then OK.
