Modem is a verizon DSL modem

Router is a Netgear dual band N router WNDR 3300

I have all the updates for Arma and Day-z I AM however missing the new patch but even with that before I was stlii crashing my internet so that isn't the issue.

Alrighty so, I bought arma 2 OA got it all installed and loaded up Day -z. So damn excited for this game.

Loading...------------ Huh it froze ok no problem alt tab, huh.....Internet is down...... Modem crashed....

After repeating this cycle a few times I went and deleted steam, arma, arma 2, Day z info, Six launcher/updater.

Re installed all I needed loaded it again same issue, got into loading a server, crashed. This time it was my router not my modem...

Sooooooo

I have port forwarded Minecraft, my server, could that be causing a conflict?.

I don't think there is any other info I can add unless there is a software to monitor my computers outgoing and incoming internet connection better then my modem/router do. I REALLY want to play this game but if it keeps killing my internet what should I do?

Fixed it, in my router I had to disable DMZ server, SPI firewall, and respond to ping on Internet port. I guess when I hard reset my modem it fixed that but my router still had the ports and server stuff set up for miencraft.
