Is there a way to change my characters sex from female to male?

I got some camo clothing and come to find out females cant switch skins and im kind of dissapointed. Is there a way to switch sex's?

Or is there an easy way to stash my stuff somewhere and then kill myself? Then come back as male and go and get all of my old belongings?

The hospital in Cherno offers sex change operations. You need to bring a friend with a knife though.

As far as I know, you can't switch in-game other than initial character creation. If you can't find a tent pick a somewhere in the middle of the east or southern coast to stash your backpack...make sure that it's HIDDEN and someplace that you can identify once you've re-spawned.
