What is server jumping?

Hey im new to this whole mod mostly because m computer was terrible but i just recently saved up for a good one anyway. i was reading the nadit thread and i saw someone say they where server jumping and i was wondering what it is because all the comments where very lets say mean :P anyway Ty for answers for a noob

Server jumping or better server hopping means logging in and out of multiple different servers in a short period of time for a specific reason thats exploiting the game somehow. An example would be moving to a high value loot location like the north western airfield and switching servers as long as you have the loot you want.
