Am i looking at a ban? is it too late?

This is my first post. so, i hope its in the right place.

i logged out in a castle for the first time the other day thinking there might be some nice loot there. got a few canteens which was nice but that's it. log in today and downstairs there's a wooden box with nvg's, camo suit and a double barrel shotty in it! im cheering thinking i finally hit payday. tell me mate about it on steam and hes like man that sounds like some hacker shit your fucked now!

so, long story short, what do i do now? am i about to get banned? do i drop the gear and leave it in the bottom of a lake never to look back? is it too late? i certainly ain't looking for a ban if i can have this sorted out before it comes to that id like to know what to do.

any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

That's indeed hacked gear, banned? No. If you want to be a good guy and save yourself from randomly logging in naked: drop it on a zombie corpse and hide the body.

mate, thanks for the heads up and advice, and thank you for the prompt reply. ill keep this in mind next time i see a wooden box. or anything that seems too good to be true.
