Impossible to Pitch Tent's!

Hey, I'm getting pretty mad at this, me and a couple of friends have gotten some ATV's and stuff, and I got 2 Camping Tent's I want to place so we can keep our gear if the vehicles explode...

But whenever i try to pitch a tent this message comes up: "The are must be flat, and free of other objects" when it is flat, AND free of objects...

Is this a bug, and is it going to be fixed?

For now, what helps is this:

Keep walking around a bit as you spam rightclick -> pitch tent in the inventory

Might take a bit but eventually it'll be placed
