I haven't seen this mentioned before, if it has then please ignore this suggestion.

I think you should be able to syphon fuel from one use able vehicle to another use able vehicle.

A friend and i found a truck and was joyriding when we found another use able vehicles by the side of the road unfortunately it was out of gas and we didn't have a jerry can.

It can just be a plastic tubing and be a special item so it doesn't take up space. There isn't too many use able vehicles so its not something you can do a lot and it wouldn't replace going to the petrol station.
