ActionManZlt 160 Posted July 8, 2012 Feel like I should repeat what has been said above.Light: ESP (client-side)Mid: Aimbot (client-side)Heavy: Script injections (server-side)Client-side stuff tends to be harder to detect. Most "hackers" will be using ESPs instead of "spawning things".Completely depends on the structure of the game' date=' and what is available for the client in a multiplayer game. Its not as "easy" at this.[/quote']Ok, but in Arma2, there do exist client-side cheats that let you identify vehicle locations when you first load in to a server. That's the situation for this particular game - the OP could've spelled this out up front to avoid the prolonged discussion of the hacking status quo. Herr Robert 28 Posted July 8, 2012 Setup camp and it's in a nice hidden location in the forest with everything hidden among the trees' date=' and WAY out of the way of any wandering person. I check my camp, leave for an hour come back and the 1 vehicle I had and all the good guns from my tent are gone. No one has "stumbled" upon my camp for 3-4 days now and all of a sudden over the span of an hour all my gear is taken and my vehicle is gone? I honestly don't believe this was a legit person who did this but someone using an ESP hack. Are they doing ANYTHING to ban these hackers? They are ruining the game more than people DC'ing to avoid death. Why setup camps if people are just going to ESP hack to find them and take all your stuff?[/quote']I can see why you are suspicious, considering there seems to be many hackers around, but you can't prove that a hacker did it. It's possible that someone found your camp earlier, and decided to wait before looting it, to ensure that he/they would be able to loot everything, for instance.
