Need help connecting to a server

I had a few erra problems that I got help on and helped fixed. But now every time I try to connect to a server it will load up get all the files and everything but then it goes to a black screen and just has a loading bar fully loaded and just stays on the screen. Sometimes it won't so that though it will go though and then go back to the screen to connect to another server and in the background it will say creating your charter or something like that and it wont though it will make me connect to another server. I have no clue on what to do or anything can someone please help. Thanks.
