Helicopter Extraction?

Saw this on my map earlier. Curious as to what it is, exactly.

When you have found a map you can mark points for your squad (an arma 2 feature). Depending what chat channel you are on, others can see your marker as well. For example if you make a mark on your map while in the Direct Chat, only players within 100 feet or so would see it. With the old game settings, making a mark while in side chat would have allowed everyone in the server to see it on their own map.

Wrong. Everyone can see everyone's markers still, but only if they were made before you logged in. If you log in, them someone marks something on the map, you'll see it once you relog.
