More than one character

I was just running around with a pretty good loot set, and realized that it would be fun to create a new character and rather than work with people actually try playing as a bandit.

I created a new ARMAII profile, but I soon found out that the game character data is saved to your CD key and not to any profile.

I'm all for persistence, but I think it would be nice if we could have different characters to accommodation different play styles/experimenting around without trashing a character you've managed to keep alive for hours and hours.

It would also be nice to start a fresh character to go play with friends, etc. Then you can both start with nothing and work together.

What are your thoughts?
