Perhaps, but the point still stands is people will become curious. And once they know where to go.. They might get bored. But then again it might just be me.

The game may be about exploring, and that's great, but I don't have time to spend 10 hours checking every road and every clearing and every little building. Loot maps are great because it takes away the boring time wasting and gives you some clear goals.

you mean i actually have an option now of finding military loot without being pigeon-holed into a sniper playground? you sir have my thanks. people posting about this ruining immersion is a joke, if you don't want to use it you don't have to. only people probably complaining are snipers who camp newbs and funnel them into hotspots.

Saw it while I was approaching NWAF from the south end, but wasn't going t those buildings so I just snapped it from where I was and avoided it. It's right behind the comm tower.

but what`s the point of this map if you can`t even loot heli crash sites? I`ve found one near Vyshnoye today, got a bunch of zombies there, but no gear menu option. so how do you loot these?

Found one last night just north of Stary. It was just west of the deer stand that sits on the southwestern tip of the forest north of Stary. About 100 yards to the west.
