So my wife and I play on Xbox one and we've been playing for a while now. We finally got our characters set up well without dying soon after getting to that point.  But what if I wanna start a solo journey? Can i have more than one character?

the perfect solution for this is having an alt

look up how to make one on youtube, once you have an alt you can play on that solo and leave the account next to your wife there and switch to that one when you want to keep playing with her. 

its the only way to play with friends if you dont have time to run freshys every time
