Constant Crashing

Ok, so, I had no problem playing until this recent update, as I keep crashing so many times. I probably need a new graphics card, but I don't understand why it worked fine before 1.7.1.5 and why it doesn't work now.

-I have the latest beta

-I've tried matching my 3d resolution to interface, and I lagged heavily, any other resolution stretches my screen and ruins the game for me.

-I've always played at low settings, but even when I change them to very high or anything else I still crash.

-PC Specs

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5450

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.00 GHz

RAM: 8 gb

64 bit Windows 7

If someone could help me out here, that would be awesome.

To no avail, trevorthebest sat shamefully at his computer chair, no one helping him, and no one else's issues that are similar to his one are resolved either.

I don't work in tech support, so I can't help you much other than to say the usual:

Verify files/reinstall

Check/update all drivers

System restore

Revert back to an older version. I still see a lot of 1.7 servers up.
