Voice (inbuild like inbuilt teamspeak)

Recommended Posts

It would be nice if you had a voice engine (like teamspeak) built into Dayz and it should work like this. If you get in range to someone you can speak to that person otherwise as in real life you can't hear him/her. This would add the option to talk to people and tell em your friendly or what ever you like to say instead of typing cause it takes to long and your most of the time end up dead before you even type what you need to say. You should also be able to find comradios that you can use between friends for longrange talk.

I know this is much to ask for but it sure would be awesome.

Like the poster before my said, you sure you don't mean direct communication? Are you aware that you can use that or?

Don't mean to be rude, just not too sure if you know it exists.

Oh your not rude but I didn't know about this. So if you get inrange you can like use your headset and talk to the person near you? (of course if he have a headset too). I'm not good at explaining I think :P

this exact feature already exists. it's called direct chat. also, arma supports voice chat - if you didn't know.

correct you need to press , until it says 'direct communication' bottom left of game screen, then holding down caps lock will activate your microphone, the range in game is something like 60metres (give or take 10m i think).

Hope this helps
