We wake up on the shore completely healthy and dry.
It would be more logical to somehow hint at the way we arrived at the shore.

If we have less HP during spawn, and our clothes are wet, then this will force us to quickly look for dry clothes so as not to get sick and make it difficult to move quickly from the start, which also will not allow us to return to our corpse too quickly.
This is another measure to combat rapid death and spawn nearby in order to become healthier and more alive.
Then it will be a real challenge and a struggle for survival. It also takes away the advantage of newcomers over those who already have any weapons. Having been reborn, we have nothing to lose, unlike someone who is trying to escape with some loot, fighting off the same player from spawn. Sooner or later, this player will deal enough damage to kill.

This is a great idea and I've never seen anyone suggest this.

I would also remove spawning fruit in the inventory and just give slightly more food so that freshies can't keep respawning to keep eating the fruits for free.

I agree. At the start, you're full and you can run until the end of the map. But try to find at least one jar before you die. Rather, eat a beginner.

Nice idea. I would expand on it a little - we spawn well-fed and healthy, but without items in our pockets. In my opinion, this will make more sense.

It's better if we show up half-dead and wet with empty pockets. As I said, this is an improvement in balance and safety from crazy beginners

Because we have innate immunity, we are not infected. But it would be worth explaining our appearance on the beach after the crash by the fact that we were hit by rocks and we got wet, and not as if we were laid on the sand by hand.
