Me and a friend were looking for an island when a blizzard hit, blew us around and we got lost for 1.5 hours on the boat. Going to grab orienteering compass from now on, but i was thinking it would be really cool if you could attach it to a slot on the boat so it showed which way you were going and would make looking for islands way less annoying

Try some modded servers. If they don't overdo the mods and bullshit, they are much better than the official servers. ¯\_(^~^)_/ ¯
