Cant Get Rid Of Character Because the server no longer exists and my name keeps resetting to survivor

I Logged On To The Game After Taking A Break From The Game For About A Year And The Server I Used To Play On Was Shut Down As Far As I Can Tell But My Character Still Exists And I Cant Find A Way To get Rid Of Her And When Ever I Join A New Server My Character's Name Keeps Resetting To Survivor No Matter What I Do I Have Changed It Through The Lunch Options And Everything And I'm Very Confused At This Point So Any Help Would Be Very Appreciated And Also If There Is A Way To Delete Old Character's Please Let Me Know Because My List Of Survivors Is Getting To Be Annoying
