Bans Appeal (Ban applied by the Game Developer)

I purchased DayZ from Steam and I loaded up into an official server and about 10 to 15 mins I got disconnected with a Steam notification saying I was game banned from DayZ behalf of the game developers? It's a bummer because I was watching one of my favorite streamers "Knotty" play DayZ and I wanted to try and get into it. If there is anything that you can do to help me out that would be awesome.  Please let me know if I missed or need anything to try and get this resolved as soon as possible.

vac ban = steam related, talk with steam people.

I have talked to Steam and they said it is NOT a VAC ban, and that it WAS a Game Ban and to contact the developers...

Steam said that if it was a VAC ban it would say "VAC" instead of "GAME" and that in fact it is a game ban by the developers. I'm honestly confused as why I would get banned. I did absolutely nothing? 

There is also a FAQ atrial that explains the difference.

Officially devs are not giving bans - but only officially. If you're certain its this type of a ban then use their feedback platform: https://feedback.bistudio.com/project/view/2/

I had this issue today. my problem is the last time I played was in 2020, when I was stationed in South Korea. But then I decided to download and play with a friend. We played for 45 minutes and basically got spawned in a town, gathered a melee weapon, and logged off. then I signed on to my Steam with you. You have been game-banned. I am very confused about it

is there anything I can do to appeal this problem?  I already explained this to their support email as well

Hello i got game ban also. i was playing and just got kicked . then when i got in steam i had a notification of a game ban by game devs. i contacted bohemia they said to contact battleye as i did . its been 2 months now no answer , no explanation nothing. 

this is really frustrating because i never used cheats nor hacks in my life , in any game and this shit hapens!!!  any ideas on how to  talk to someone in order to fix this . Bohemia should care more about people , we paid money for the game , we  deserve a explanation !!!!   please let me know if someone solves this !!!  thanx and good luck to all!!

Reading all your comments, something similar happens to me. I played from Cuba and it was necessary to use a VPN to have internet, now I play games from the United States and I am banned. The claim mechanism to resolve these ban problems is frustrating. Please, if anyone knows where to write to remove the ban, please provide a link. Thank you and Happy New Year.
