Discouragement of PVP no matter the state of your health

Recommended Posts

It's just unrealistic, when people no matter if they're full health or were recently mowed down by automatic fire and miraculously survived or even in process of succumbing to elements are equally capable of fighting. Running away should be the preferable option over fighting if you got seriously wounded.

That's why I suggest something, that should be easily implementable and should do the trick.

MELEE

The less health you have:

- you'll hit softer

- you'll need more stamina for stamina-consuming actions

- your block may sometimes be breached

RANGED

- you'll have bigger sway

- you'll have harder-kicking recoil

- your breath holding will be less effective at steading your aim

I feel this used to be a thing but say a bandit sneaks up on you, shoots you, gets you low health, now you're double disadvantaged in fighting back. It would just get annoying, it makes sense, maybe I'm thinking about it wrong but to have someone try and kill you and barely be able to fight back would suck. You already get broken limbs and passing out and blood loss. Only thing I see to extra discourage people would be a death timer, but that might even be too hardcore for this games playerbase.

good and a reasonable suggestion i think. It kinda makes sense to have more side effects from being injured. It would somewhat discourage PVP or even make it more thrilling (also this works well with PVE )...yes you lose blood and black out..but i think having more character health dynamics would be overall survival game improvement. Makes playing ur character and the world seem more interesting.

This would just make the game impossible and not fun man.

there is a game called "call of duty" that you can play which does not have any survival mechanics. run, sprint do a backflip with a hailstorm of bullets in you. MANY other games like that aswel...maybe fortnite is more your style even?

The game is already easy as it is because part of it is dayz trying to cater to people like you that prefer a casual shooter instead of something thats a "HARDCORE SURVIVAL GAME " it should simulate somewhat closer to reality the harshness of survival. Doubt youd be swinging a bat full strenght while jogging like a marathon runner at me when iv already beaten u in the head with a crowbar.

players like you are one of the reasons dayz vanilla kinda suks. " i cant find a can of food and a m4 with 5 full clips in the first house i looked into in an "empty" apocalyptic soviet village, the game is un-playable."  probly you also ask questions why are there zombies in a zombie game aswel.

Your argument is sorta obsolete cause the game already discourages pvp and uses these survival elements you want. It's not easy. You can die in a second. I don't play call of duty mongoloid. Maybe you're just bad at pvp and that's why you want this bug it won't help you.
