Will I be able to run it?

Recommended Posts

Okay I am a noob. I have no idea if my pc will be able to run DayZ and yes I am getting Arma just to play DayZ.

My specs are-

Intel Sandy Bridge Core i7 2600K 3.4GHz

16GB DDR3 SDRAM Memory Module

2TB 7200RPM Hard Disk Drive

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 Video Card

24X DVD+/-RW DL Optical Drive

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-Bit Edition

Yes I tried to look for the requirements for DayZ but I could not seem to find them anywhere, sorry for my stupidity.

You need another meg of ram and a 2400 baud modem...

Sorry to be a smartass. Why not download ARMAII Free and see how zippy that will be on your system?

There's nothing about OA or DayZ that will overload your system as far as I am aware. I'm on a Q9450 (oc'd 3.2) and a GTX260 and I have no problems. I run at default settings and those are fine so I have not messed with them. But I am old and I remember playing games at 320x240 with 16 colors...
