In that scenario what you've seen wasn't what really happened. I mean you would see being in the middle of a road but in reality car crashed against something in vicinity. Also remember not to drive right before restart. Two minutes warning usually heralds imminent kick/shutdown. There's also possibility of cheating since death happened so fast and without bloody indicator. But once again no resources to tell that for sure. If it's not a strange trick that I've never seen (or heard of) yet, it must be a game defect. I've never seen anything like it, and YT is full of car defects in DayZ. I think you were very unlucky.
