No information about server, logs of any kind, nothing... I wouldn't say it was cars fault though unless lag was involved. In that scenario what you've seen wasn't what really happened. I mean you would see being in the middle of a road but in reality car crashed against something in vicinity. Also remember not to drive right before restart. Two minutes warning usually heralds imminent kick/shutdown.

There's also possibility of cheating since death happened so fast and without bloody indicator. But once again no resources to tell that for sure. In fact there's no evidence since restart terminated ruined (dead) body. No body = no crime.

If the video hasn't been cut or edited... the car suddenly stopped, with a dry noise in the background... and the player died... If it's not a strange trick that I've never seen (or heard of) yet, it must be a game defect. I've never seen anything like it, and YT is full of car defects in DayZ.

I think you were very unlucky. Let's hope it doesn't happen again.
