helicopter crashsite smoke effects

So been playing dayz a few weeks, but the lack of smoke from crashsites is starting to get annoying. I know some people are able to see the smoke. I am not one of those fortunate few.

If anyone of you got any knowledge where the issue might be, please do tell.

Im running the ARMA 2/ARMA 2: OA from the steamstore, and i have installed the latest dayzmod version:1.7.1.5 plus the lastest Arma 2 beta patch:1.60.94444

Not useing any fancy launchers such as Sixlauncher.

My rig is:

Nvidia Geforce GTX 470 running Driver version:301.42

DirectX version : 11.1

Suggestions/help would be much appreciated

If you first sign into the server after a restart, you can see it. I think within the first ten minutes if you sign in and do not log out you can see it. After you relog or become disconnected, you lose the visual.
