So you're running through a town without a care in the world with about twenty zombies hot on your heels. But no worries, you can just log out and lose them all!

No.

Any zombies that are aggroed onto you when you log out should spawn around you still aggroed the next time you log in. This will make people think twice about dashing through towns and shooting at players with loud, loud guns.
