filippo.restivo@hotmail.it 0 Posted May 16, 2012 Hello guys!I am new to this mod (I started playing two days ago) but I am already addicted to it!I've been waiting for a game like this for a long time and I can't tell how happy I was to bump into DayZ!Anyway I have a suggestion based on some complaints from people who became bandits by self defending only, without the real intention to become one.ISSUE: A survivor clearly wants to kill you and he is shooting at you.You manage to survive and kill him instead unfairly becoming a bandit.SOLUTION: I was thinking about Lineage II pvp system if you know it.Once a player is engaged in a fight by attacking another player he becomes flagged and enters pvp mode. Once in this status, if the player is killed his killer won't become a PK (player killer/Bandit in our case) since it is all about pvp. If you get shot by Player A, and you mistakenly kill Player B, are you not penalized?I'm concerned that this may be an exploitable mechanic. Consider this. A band of survivors have one assigned 'patsy' in their team, that they take attacks from simultaneously... ...getting shoot from him ONCE in the foot. (A to his humanity, so, really only one bandit.) Then, they go out on a murderous rampage on another group, racking up no humanity hit.(Sure, it sounds insane, but still.
