Flaming chopper goes down then Server crash

I had an interesting session... which resulted in me loosing all my gear.

It all started when i was in churno on the roof of the Firehouse.

a noob was in the tower bleeding with zeds comin up

"Please dont shoot me" he calls out. I shot the zeds to help him out.

he was unarmed.

Over at the end of the roof looked like a dead body. (strange camo gear on)

I go over to loot it... I prone as its day and 45players on.

cant loot it... weird..

Then I see his head move and in a panic I pumped 5 rounds in his head with my AK. Ok now I can loot it.

After looting 2nades, 2 charges, Radio, GPS and a set of NVG's I realise why it was just laying there.. he had set a tent out on the road as bait and waiting for someone to come along.

Anywho.. time to get out of dodge.

So I move towards the supermarket... spot a player in there... again I hear "Please dont shoot"... Lol I know that voice.. same guy.

We have a bit of a chatt from a distance, he mentions something about a revolver in there if I want it... I have a chuckle and stupidly say na its cool Ive got an AK.

Well.... he all of a suddin wanted to tag along .... "hey wait up"

With all this shit on me, I have every peice of equipment!... I really dont want to take any chances.

I make a dash out of there not before he catches up to me.

Hes armed with a crossbow now and hes talking to me... which is fine but im a little wary... Then he shoots me.

This Gives me the shits as I helped him out earlyer and at the same time Im thinking what an idiot shooting someone with a crossbow when they have an AK pointed at you. So I let fly.... It was completely pointless. So annoyed at him for even trying.

SO then naturally I aggro ed and had to get them off.

Im down to 5000blood, from 11000 most of the damage from the zeds not him... had 7 on me.

After that was over I bandage and just as I finish I hear a chopper.

Then I see it flying over in the distance to my right on fire!

It gett out of sight presumably behind the trees then I get a DC!

Either the server crashed or my connection screwed up but either way It seems a bit weird that a chopper is even on 1.7.5 with the latest arma 2 patch.

Thats all fine and dandy... until I log back on.

I have nothing.

Everything on me is gone... even my backpack and handgun.

Im naked, Im also in a slightly different spot... not where I logged.

Ive seen simiar bugs like this happen before and if I log out and on to another server ill be fine again.

Nope, Im ok now.. but my shit is definitely gone!!!

ARRRG.

anyone have any idea how I could be stripped without dieing??
