Noob Question.

But how the hell do I save a game when i'm done playing? I play for like an hour get to a place nad need to take a break, but I can't save, and when I exit the game, and re-open DayZ I have to start all over from scratch?

It automatically saves your position. Just hit abort, and disconnect. Then log back in? You should not be starting from scratch unless you're joining a server that has a server specific second character, or if you're hitting respawn or something.

It saves automatically. If it does not for you then my first thought is: Are you using a lagitimate copy of Arma II

If so then it is probably a large problem and you may want to re-install DayZ and maybe Arma II. Nobody else is having this problem
