Does the double barrel shot gun work when prone?

Recommended Posts

I've had it happen twice in a row now that I let rip into the chest of a point blank target and nothing happens...

I've got about 10fps so that might have something to do with it but I don't have a problem with any other weapon when prone...

idk, but the guns shit. I shot someone point blank in front of me twice in the chest with a 2 slugs, and he didnt die, he killed me with his AK, and he bled out about 3 sec after i died. Kinda retarded, he shoulda went down the first shot, before he returned fire.. =\

Well, you don't use slugs in the double barrel. It's meant for pellets. If you put slugs in it, you're going to miss any time you fire unless you're lucky. I get that it's hard to find ammo, but please, if you find 8 rnd M1014 pellets, break them down into 4 batches of 2 rnd pellets. It works so much better, and it will improve your life.

If you find slugs, toss 'em unless you think you'll find a remington or M1014 soon.

On his screen, he might have even shot you first, and then you shot back at him after you should have died! But Arma tries to make it "fair" for both players, by letting you both be 'back in time' by the amount of both your pings added together.
