New Food and Water Acquirement System

Recommended Posts

This Idea is also posted on the Facebook page under the "What do you want to see added to DayZ?"

*****************************************************

Add Salt to the game to lengthen how long cooked meat last (when combined). And also if salted, 1000 blood or more then regular amount form cooked meat.Salted meat can still rot, but only after days, compared to cook meat.

Basically, make food a common sources, but always in need.

For canned food, make it a less common spawn, so you need to hunt. That would mean a increase in animal spawn.

For Drinking, sources of water can have a chances of being contaminated, poisoning your water. To insure water is safe, you can add a purifying tablet to it. This is a new item, and is common spawn.

For soda, it like canned food and is less common of a spawn.

Eating Cooked meat that has started to rotten or drinking bad water has a chances to makes you sick. As such, Antibiotics are more common.

Canned food is always safe.

This System is for what the game is based on, Survival. Its only a idea, and can be changed or not used.

I would like to know what other people ideas are on it. Any good alterations, or if it should not be used (And if so, why).

I do not want to hear complaining, as this is towards how the game is based on survival, Not Balances.

*Enjoy*
