Can someone get banned from dayz for disconnect before death

My irl friend just got dayz and he dced before he died can he get banned from the game?

Server ban more than likely if caught by an admin, as for a global ban I don't think so. Going to be patched soon where it's not possible to do it anyway. Tell you friend to stop being a coward and play the game the way its meant to be played.

How the disconnect system will work? Like a 10 sec delay before disconnect ?

Combat logging on any server is an exploit.

Combat logging (period) according to Rocket is an exploit.

It's listed on the forums as a known exploit by Rocket himself, so I imagine with sufficient evidence, or doing it to a DayZ dev team member (they do play afterall) it's possible. It's just hard to get concrete evidence because there isn't any evidence to say their power/internet went out or the cat chewed the power cord or whatever. Most likely they will just get a server ban if an admin catches them as stated above.

Rocket was playing with a fix where you stay in game for a few seconds, but it didn't quite work, so there will be a fix soon I'm sure, and your friend won't be able to continue exploiting.
