nemorus 272 Posted May 15, 2024 There is a mini-game within "DayZ" that people hate with passion. It is a tetris-type of game which happens in peoples pockets. Usually its bearable, but in life of every man there comes a time when one needs to build a house. Almost every base has its storage. Let's say that we have a tent - no, lets make it two tents, garage ones for more dramatic effect. In each one we have a *** ton of small, yet very important items such as spark plugs and.. paper. A lot of paper. One day a need arise to work with the wall behind the tent. Too bad - there are millions of items in the way. One must click on every damn thing to move it. But what if there was an easy way out? I suggest what prolly every file manager offers: selection area. You click, you hold, you select area inside container and then you drink your tea waiting. Process could be stopped at any time so its safe. Well? Isn't that a nice idea that needs to be implemented ASAP? I know, i know - You're loving it. No need to be shy :).
Salvatore Spampinato 10 Posted May 16, 2024 kinda useless yk, once you place your tent, the act is done, that tent will be there forever, adding a feature like this would mean that all the other important features are less important than this one, I'd say that is a thing to add as late as possible, id want a better dayz first. tho cool idea
nemorus 272 Posted May 16, 2024 Forever? Since when? The only instance when container such as tent cannot be removed is when player deploy it in a way that activation field is beyond reach (in a wall for instance). But it would still be possible to "remove it" with fire, unless administration turned that option off. Moving containers around is pretty standard thing - either during additional construction or raiding. I've done that million times myself. And yes - there is no such thing as important or less. Remember when they've added repair option for Teddy Bears? It was nothing for majority of people. Except for me, since i'm collecting them big time :).
