Dayz wont launch at all

Recommended Posts

So ive been browsing the internet for a fix but everybody's issue seems to be that theyve started the game tried to connect to a server and black screen from their however with mine its as soon as i launch dayz from steam or double click game from desktop.

Ive tried reinstalling dayz atleast 7 times now, ive upgraded from win10-11 to try fix it

tried veryfing file integrity a tonn of times

tried deleting stuff from %appdata% and any other place dayz is sitting in my pc reverifying integrity of files same thing. also to make things harder to fix, dayz experimental works absolutly fine.

Black screen right after launching game? It stays black, crash with some info, just close, what? Also, what kind of a computer you have there? Did you try with different games which burn a lot of memory and need pretty good ssd? More info needed.

I get no errors just a black screen upon the game trying to open when laaunching from steam or the exe  i have to alt+tab then end task at task manager, i have other games they all run perfectly fine at 1440p, cant even go into safe mode

I had something like that, many years ago. Back then it was hardware-related. Won't say exactly what because i haven't test it step by step. If you're certain that its not a config file that's making a joke on ya, then i'd say its something physical. Might be memory or ssd - these two are most important parts for "DayZ".
