Different population-proportions for Villages and Cities

Recommended Posts

I recognized something after walking out of Cherno in some smaller village...

If you shoot in Cherno, there are just as much (or even less) zombies attacking you than in villages. I once shot my Enfield in a 4-house village and I just couldn't stop defending myself against the hordes of incoming Infected. Now when shooting in Cherno, there are like 4 incoming Zombies and that's it.

I think there could be more zombies in bigger towns and slightly less in villages. This would bring 3 advantages:

1. You are not overrun by an ridiculously unrealistic amount of zombies in a village.

2. The constant bandit-deathmatch going on in bigger cities would be reduced, because you would think twice before shooting on someone sneaking.

3. Cities would be a very interesting place to be in. Kinda like an intense and harder experience that is also rewarded with more.

So either scavenge the city for rare supplies and risk attracting the hordes, or search in smaller villages for safety and worse equipment.

I agree on most points you make. There needs to be less zombies in small towns and bit more in cities. I was in Cherno and shot had a gun fight multiple times and no zombies came at me.

I'm down with any idea of making the zombie force stronger, though if I may add.

Say if you are a low population server, you specifically spawn 10 zombies by your own.

But if you hop onto a higher population server, you will spawn more zombies relative to the amount on the server, to possibly even 30 zombies.

The point is though, the higher the player population, the higher the amount of zombies players will spawn.

May make players work together if this idea and the idea of making guns more rare come together.
