Barricade123 1 Posted March 16 One of my friends was banned temporarily for using a auto hot key to auto run from a community server, not knowing it was against the rules. However, it was shown that the server was logging his key strokes. Its a Namalsk server with no downloadable mods showing when joining. I see that there is a mod on the workshop that does exactly this to try to help combat cheaters but is this not against BE's terms of service in some way? I would think that logging a players key strokes while either in-game or out, is not allowed for obvious reasons? Just was a bit worrying for some of us in our friend group that other servers might also be doing it and us possibly having passwords or other info compromised. Thank ya,
Kyiara 790 Posted March 19 Hi, We are looking into suspicious mods when they are reported to us. We have looked into key-logging mods before, and they have never logged any keys outside of the game and were focused around keys and combinations that were used in contemporary cheat software. If you want to be sure, please, create a private ticket here, and we can look into this particular case. Thanks a lot
