I Have tried installing Day Z more than 7 times now and i have been having a whole bunch of bad results. I can launch the game with the mods no problem, but when i try joining server, i either can sent back to server list after loading occurs or the front page and sometimes the game just freezes. i run it through six launcher/updater and steam AND tried a batch file, but its all the same. Apparently, six updater is the "easiest" way to play DayZ but so far its been screwing me bad. Anyone know a way around these problems?

Try launching the game from the beta shortcut. If you didn't install the Arma2 OA beta you need ot.

I think im going to try installing without six updater/ launcher, i found a tut on youtube which seems promising.

Make sure you have the latest Beta patch, and make sure you installed it correctly.

i would recommend doing it manually, you can use the search function and find multiple guides that WORK.
