Button to toggle HUD for PS4

Would this be possible to do without having to open settings? Holding touchpad for one second could be used.

Bumping this thread. Devs can we please get this for console? 

The game is a lot more immersive when you can hide the hud when you dont need it, and would help to emphasize the beauty of the landscape in the upcoming dlc. All i ask is that we have the same option as pc players with a simple button toggle to hide and display the HUD.

We currently have the ability to disable the hud in settings but there is no toggle for it whilst playing, we have to go into the inventory screen to see player stats and such, which is not practical at all.

I propose: pressing in the right analog stick; to hide or show the hud.

I think this is the perfect button because the right stick is only used for movement and is not accidentally 'clicked'. Even so, this choice could be activated in settings so that people arent accidentally doing it without choosing the hud toggle option.

Hello just checking in on progress for the hud toggle for xbox/console. (Ill help you out: right stick will be perfect) 

I was surprised to see it wasnt included in the last update to 1.26. But im sure youve got it planned for the next update!

100% support for this IDEA from my site as well...

(and what would be absolutely perfect imho - Having the HUD off and be able to see it when touchpad is hold...🤯)

Also, toggle walking by double-pressing L3 would make long distance traveling much more effective 😁

It must be very simple, in my uneducated opinion. But pc have toggle hud option so i don't see why we cant. Im on xbox so i dont know about this touch pad thing.

As we've discussed, a simple button to toggle hud on and off, i think even someone from care in the community could manage to do that in an afternoon

Hi devs im surprised to see this didnt appear in the patch notes for 1.27??  Perhaps you ran into technical difficulties, so we should probably be seeing it in the following update?

I imagine its all hands on deck in the offices, your brightest and most talented minds working together, night and day, to craft a revolutionary feature of a HUD TOGGLE FOR CONSOLE. 

As always we await with great anticipation. It must be a monumental undertaking to develop because its been a while since myself and others in this thread have demanded its creation. But i have absolutely no doubt that you are all working hard on it. So for that, i thank you.

Hello devs! Hows the work going on the hud toggle for console? i assume youve been working extremely hard on it? I was expecting to see it in the latest updates patch notes but alas it was not there. Perhaps its a secret addition youve chosen not to disclose? Its an incredibly simple update, a feature that pc has, so im scratching my noggin here trying to wonder what the hold up is. You must have encountered an issue during testing i assume? 

Anyway im waiting here patiently, we will all benefit from the cinematic enhancement that a hud toggle will provide, especially for your up and coming dlc! I was hoping to enjoy this feature on sakhal but sadly to no avail.

Anyway please fill us in on the development and how close you are to getting this incredibly simple feature finalised!

I say go true hard-core and no hud at all. Just like, remove it entirely.
