New faith in survivors

Recommended Posts

Today i freshly spawned near Balota. After a short walk i was in one of the hangars at the airfield, searching for some weapons, when i suddenly hear a sound behind me. I turn around and see a guy with an AK looking directly at me.

Well, that's it. I gonna get shot any second now. This were my thoughts in that moment, but what has happenend then, left me in great confusion. He did not shoot me, instead he was giving me a Glock 17 with some ammo and gave me a blood transfusion (i only had 1456 blood at that moment). From that moment on, we both roamed Chernarus together.

So, what do i want to tell you guys out there with this little story that happened to me? Quite simple. Don't shoot always on sight. It is just a waste of ammo and will ruin a possible cooperation.

I hope more people will act like this very kind person so that not all players kill you without having any reason for it.

DE123 has nice people on it, a group sorta. So I play there too. Join if you want, I won't KoS you (unless I'm at a heli crash or something, sorry but that is too risky)

I'm the kind of person to do this as well. But...I've heard too many stories about people giving people weapons, and then that person shooting them in the face with the gun they JUST were given.

I'm the kind of person who'd be more likely to leave something in a 'dead drop' and then direct a new player towards it, rather than risk my goddamn neck helping someone who could be an utter asshole.

Seems like a good idea, way better than just exposing yourself to a big threat. But as i said, we need more people like you or the guy that helped me. That goddamn paranoia (although it is part of the game) kills many survivors, because they COULD be a threat.

@ Powell I'll look into that, maybe that will be my first server i visit frequently :D
