Opening game freezes my entire PC

Hello. I've had the game since 2014 and have about 1400 hours on it. I've never had any issues with the game until recently. For some reason when I try and play the game, it completely freezes my entire Pc. I've even done a complete factory reset on my pc to try and resolve the issue but when i tried to play it, it still froze my pc. Can someone please help me with this issue. Dayz is one of my favorite games and i really want to continue playing. It would be greatly appreciated. 

I have a HP omen x. Geforce GTX 1070 graphics card. 40 gigs of ram. I have no idea what the problem is. I've verified the integrity of the files already and it hasn't helped.

Also, for some reason, i can play Dayz experimental with no issues at all.
