Why are there no horses??? Horseback riding and horses need to be added to this amazing, unique game. The game has a lot of elements of a medieval setting. We have knight's armor, knight's castles, swords and maces. the concept of horse riding would be very authentic.
We have a loud gun and its alternative in the form of a quiet crossbow.
We have loud cars and trucks but no alternative in the form of quiet, tame horses.
We have Deer and other animals that can be hunted, but no horses that can be tamed.
Yes, I understand that we are not in Minecraft and fur farming deviates a little from the setting of a post-apocalyptic shooter, but on the other hand, remember the series “The Walking Dead”, which inspired the main author of this game.
In the first episode, the main character travels from the farm to the city on a horse, and in the city the horse dies at the hands of the dead.
Personally, this reminds me of the cyclical journey of DayZ players from Kamysovo to the North-Western airfield.
By this I want to say that horse riding should not become some kind of casual ride, but an objectively useful and enjoyable mechanic for the gaming experience.
Imagine a chase and shootout on horseback through the forest in the world of DayZ. Imagine that in the midst of a firefight your horse was killed, and you fell from it and broke your legs, but survived. How bad will you be for your horse? Even losing a car can be very upsetting. You will not leave the server until you take revenge on the bastard.
Imagine clearing an area of zombies on horseback. Sounds like a lot of fun.
If you think that a horse can unbalance and ruin the game, then think about this:
1. A horse is a hungry mouth. Finding food for your pet can be a challenge, especially in the early stages of the game.
2. a horse significantly increases your silhouette and makes you a more vulnerable target.
3. Falling from a horse at high speed will definitely lead to injury, if not death.

In exchange for the risk of being shot, we will get a quiet transport that does not require resources other than food and water. It fits perfectly into the DayZ world setting and adds immersion. And the most important thing is that it will attract all horse riding lovers from other games.

ADD HORSES!!!
