Globally banned after flying a huey

Recommended Posts

So yesterday I was playing on Seattle 117 when I came across a UH1H in komarovo. I saw some guys in the warehouse, and decided check it out. While they were in there, I hopped in and stole it. It was really fun having it. I ended up crashing it and dying unfortunately. Today when I got on however, I discovered I was global banned by BattleEye. Wtf! I'm assuming the Huey I found was hacked in now that I think about it. But I was banned for using it? How was I supposed to know that it was? What should I do in regards to this? any ideas? thanks.

The DayZ devs have been quoted saying that there are no false positives with global bans. So, if that is true... either you hacked and got banned or you didn't (you DID get globally banned). Are you sure it's a global ban? If so, you can't get banned for flying/driving a vehicle someone else hacked in.

As for what you should do: I think you should contact Battleye. From my understanding there is nothing the DayZ team can do about your global ban since they did not issue it, Battleye did. http://www.battleye.com/ Not quite sure how exactly to contact them but there should be a way on their website.

If that is the case, i'll have to look into it more. I have a brother that plays on the same account i'll question him. If I got banned because of him. Well then fuck. Thank you for the help.
