Optimal graphics settings?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I'm new to Dayz PC after 1000+ on console.

Learning all over again - couldn't even block a Zombie last night.

I'm looking for some help in optimising my graphics settings.   The game looks amazing, but when I look left to right etc... it feels like it's a bit blurry/moving too fast.

My machine:

AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
RX 7900XT
32G DDR5 RAM.

Thanks in advanced.
Happy Gaming

no clue what you mean by this, but try decreasing your mouse sensitivity?

there is no motion blur in the game either, maybe you are still not used to the framerate especially if you have high refresh rate monitor (make sure to set it to high refresh rate in windows settings if you havent already)

i thought the same and adjusted the mouse sensitivity, didnt really make any difference.

Yep - i have high refersh rate, 165hrz.  I set that in windows.  Could be I'm just not used to it I suppose.   Was playing on 75" TV from around 3m away for 6 months.

Yeah, welcome to high refresh rate gaming. It will take a bit for you to get used to, but once you get used to it, 30/60 fps will look extremely laggy to you 😆

Spent sometime looking how to optimise my settings to improve so will give that a blast, too.

Looking forward to getting use to m&k!  Feels impossible atm
