Open Mic Issues

Need help, please. I'm a noob to DaysZ. I can't get the open mic to stay on and changed it in settings multiple times. No problem using push-to-talk. I'd rather have it so that I can let my teammates know I'm being shot at and not need to press a button to talk. I use the Hyper X Cloud.
