Vehicle Surface Traction

Cars are too slow to accelerate uphill and it acts like they are stuck in mud or way overweight. I'm trying to mod the surfaces values but there is not too much info on this. 

I have seen people use: frictionOffroad=, frictionSlick=, rollResistance= and rollDrag=, but I can't find anything on those. I also see the default surfaces config.cpp has: noiseSteer=, noiseFrequency=, roughness=, drag= and friction= but the information either eludes my searches or has minimal information on how it actually affects things or what range of values are acceptable, like 0-1 or 0-10. 

If anyone can clear this up it would be a great help. Thanks!
