SimplePy 0 Posted July 28, 2023 So I want to make my own mods but I have an issue at the first stage of getting start from the wiki, Followed it to the letter yet it dont work. really annonys me when intrusctions don't work lmao maybe update the wiki to fix issues. Anyway my issue is that I can not extract the game data, Also it seems like its looking for files in the P drive, it is empty I just created it and did not add anything to it. the wiki tutorial does not explan if or if not add anything to the drive execpt from extracting the game data to the drive, I say this because it looks like its trying to look for a file in the P drive that does not exsist and why should exsit its a fresh partitioned drive its meant to be empty? so yeah this is the error I get. I partitioned one of my drives and then assigned it the letter P I also gave the P partition 25GB of storage, Also the DayZ Tool is installed on a spearate drive no idea if this would create issues, but I do not see why it would, on the DayZ Tool it also says this about the Workdrive. So at this point I have no idea what the problem is you would think the wiki on this step would have told you how to configure the P drive, Not even the format is even metetioned what I asume is NTFS, but drive configuration huh? what configuration? Like I don't think I have ever need to configure a drive?, So could I please get some help on this subject please also feel free to let me edit the wiki after this I would love to add the extra steps for the people who run in to this issue so no one else has to do what im doing right now like sending this message! p.s I'm just a generally moody as person sorry in advance! you guys are awesome, not the wiki guys though we have beef!
