My client is completely borked on one specific server

Whenever I jump, I get this blue pulsing on my screen, often doesn't go away. Sometimes disappears when I jump again. Only happens on one server. Is there a fix? Either clientside or server side as it's my friends server.

On top of this, my game is generally very bugged on this server. Touching a car will often kill me, and I am unable to bandage under any conditions, even with a bandage in my hand -the option to bandage never appears in the bottom corner.
