So yeah everyone on Seattle 127 just got ported into the sky over what appeared to the nw airfield and fell to their death. What.

as I just told you ingame I was afk and just didn't leave the server. I was in mogilovka and died as well

That's the second time tonight it's happened on Seattle 127. First time I'd logged out before it killed, not so lucky this time though. :-(

I would say most DayZ players who have spent a large amount of time with the game have experienced this at least once. It really does suck.

Maybe someone with really good gear has just been killed and took a suck?
